From Sea to Crystal: The Story of Sal de Marbella’s Flor de Sal

After a long search and many taste tests, we finally discovered our favorite salt – the one that meets all our expectations for Sal de Marbella.

Flor de Sal, the purest form of sea salt, naturally created under the Andalusian sun.

As seawater flows into traditional salt pans, it slowly evaporates, allowing a delicate layer of salt crystals to form on the surface.

This thin crust, known as flor de sal, develops only under specific climatic conditions, making it rare and precious.

Carefully hand-harvested and left unrefined, Sal de Marbella’s flor de sal retains its natural minerals and subtle maritime flavour.

The result is an artisanal salt that reflects the authenticity, sustainability, and timeless tradition of Costa del Sol.
